Welcome to the website for Hunmanby Camera Club. Our club usually meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month in Hungate Court. Other meetings take place away from Hunmanby. A varied programme is produced each year to cater for both novice and expert camera users.

Should you wish to attend a meeting to observe a club night please feel free to do so. There is a committee member on duty on the door to enable entry from 7.15PM. Meetings commence at 7.30PM. New members are always welcome.

Where We Meet

Our Meetings

The club aims to assist members of all abilities and experience to develop their photographic skills, in a friendly and supportive environment.
We do this through a series of practical workshops and competitions, where judges give full and fair comment on the images they view.
Competition evenings consist of viewing both projected digital images and prints in monochrome and colour. This can include a refreshment break and, on occaions, an input from visiting judges, for which we are very grateful.

Settle Photographic Group has a photographic exhibition in the Parlour at the Folly.

FRIDAY MARCH 22ND TO SUNDAY MARCH 31ST – SHEFFIELD PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY EXHIBITION – SHEFFIELD CATHEDRAL
The Annual Exhibition is the Society’s showcase for the best recent work of its members and is a prints only Exhibition.
The Exhibition will be held at the Sheffield Cathedral. Entry is free.

Ilkley CC is showing 120 superb prints by its members at its free Exhibition at Cliffe Castle Museum, Keighley, West Yorkshire. 
The museum is on Spring Gardens Lane, Keighley BD20 6LH. Open: Tuesday to Friday 10am – 4pm; Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays 11am – 4pm; last admission 3.30pm.  

TUESDAY MAY 14TH 7.30PM – EAMONN MCCABE FRPS – ‘FROM ART TO SELFIES – A CAREER IN PHOTOGRAPHS’
As a photojournalist and picture editor for national newspapers, Eamonn has won numerous awards for his news and sports photography. Recently he presented ‘Britain in Focus’ on BBC 4 a three-part series about the history of photography. See http://www.eamonnmcacbe.co.uk
